Back on Flickr

I have been absent on Flickr for sometime.. For sometime I was very active there, commenting, taking care of some groups, participating etc. And it started eating me. At some point I started feeling like it’s nothing but a popularity contest and people don’t really care what they see it’s just kind of “you tell me my photo is great and I’ll tell you your photo is greater”.

So I needed to time off and put my mind on other things. Luckily, I have been busy so I didn’t have to look far to find something else to do (hey, does that mean I still have a life??). I am currently teaching web design at the University of Arts and Design for Photography students, plus I have my other classes and last but not least, I am trying to make this new site deign work..

and time stood stillHowever, since I stopped interacting in Flickr, I’ve gotten few messages asking what’s going on and some people aid they missed my work. Boy, does an artist need anything else? (Well, would be nice to get paid every now and then.. ;) Seriously though, it feels so so so awesome to get feedback like that! I think I’m back on Flickr!
